a piggie turned inactive

I have two male guinea pigs and one was always more active and hyper than the other one... lately the one that was usually more active has turned lazy and just lays in the corner of their cage... he still eats and drinks, just doesn't run around like he used to!! What's wrong with him?

There may be nothing wrong with him at all. He may just be maturing and calming down a bit.

On the other hand, a change in behaviour should always be investigated so i would get him checked over by a vet as the possible underlying causes are too numerous to mention.
