breast crusts

My 3 yr. old piggy has yellow crusty stuff AROUND her nipples-it does NOT seem to come FROM her nipples.  Other wise she is just fine. This is a new one for me...any answers?!

This is a new one for me too.  It could be dry skin.  I raise skinnies and they always seem to be like sweaty dirty kids.  Their skin creates a yellowish waxy barrier.  

To make sure that it doesn't come from the nipples, I would palpitate them to see if anything does come out.  If not, I would bathe her and rub some mild skin lotion on the area.
