Guinea-pig and rabbit

Question
recently one of my guinea-pigs died, and his companion got really lonely and the company of me couldnt help her, even though id keep her by my side and rub her while i was studying, or doing anything that required sitting, like even now she's sitting on my lap, and at night i let her up in my bed for about 20 mins before i go to sleep then i put her in her indoor cage which is beside my bed at night time and in the morning i plunk her beside me
anyway i have an outdoor cage for her, and i have a rabbit, both guinea-pig and rabbit are female, the rabbit is less than a year old, and daisy(guinea-pig) is 7 but still playful and energetic, i put them in the same cage (alhough at night i put the rabbit in her hutch and daisy in the house with me i dont want either to get pneumonia like my guineapig did)

anyway, recently my guinea-pig has some kind of rash, well, its a loss of hair and it seems to be damaged as if she scratched, do you think the rabbit would have anything to do with this? and is there anything apart from the rabbit kicking daisy or barbering her that i should be aware of?

sorry about the long q..

Answer
well, the guinea pig and the rabbit could give each other a disease or illness. The rabbit may have something to do with it. Is the skin flakey looking and red? If so she could have mange mites. I would truly consider taking her to a vet though to see if there is anything that could be put on the rash.
Good luck and keep me posted.
