my 1 year old male guinea pig

i have a one year old male guinea pig who i have had about 4 months he seems lonley and i want to get him a friend but not a female because i dont wont them to breed , if i get a male will they fight? plaese help thankyou freya .x.x.

Males don't fight if they are matched up right. Just like with females. It is all about their personalities and matching them so they will get along. Get a male who is younger then him in age, so that way your male will be the leader and there will be a lot less of a chance for fighting if the new male is younger. Get a male that closely matches your male's personality, if your male is really active then get one that is just as active, if he is mellow and relaxed then get one like that. It doesn't mean that the new one has to exactly match that but needs to come close so they get along fine.
