Fighting guinea pigs...

I've had two female guinea pigs (one is the mommy the other is the her baby) and just last night went out and bought a baby girl. When I put the new one in the cage with the others they both started to chatter their teeth and then try to bit her. The new one is much smaller then my other ones so I'm really worried that they might really hurt her. What do I do?

This does sometimes happen when you introduce a new pig onto "their" territory.

Firstly, you need to thoroughly clean the cage to remove their scent and you might even need to bath the older pigs too. Let me know what effect these two things have.

Sometimes pigs dont get on but we can try these things first.
