Question
what is the oldest age for
a guinea pig to be pregnant?
and is it okay
to seperate two females if they
are both pregnant?

Answer
Hi Rhea,

A female guinea pig can be bred until four years of age. However, the first time she is pregnant she should be under six months old. Otherwise, her pelvic bones will have fused and she is not as likely to be able to deliver the babies successfully.

You can separate two female piggies if you wish. However, there is no need to do so, and they will help each other to raise the babies if they live together.

Hope this helps.

If you need anything else - just ask!

Jenny.
