QuestionQUESTION: My 2 guinea pigs are overweight, how should I reduce their weight? One guinea pig is much bigger than the other, what should I do because I don't want to separate them?
ANSWER: Hi Becky
Who has told you they are overweight?

QUESTION: They are both females, about 3 years old. One of them is 1350grams and the other is 1075grams. I have read that the average weight is 700-900grams.
Thank you!
AnswerHi Becky
Weight ranges for adult females range from 700 - 1300 grams so although one of your pigs might be big she isnt overweight and doesnt need a diet.
A large pig is quite normal and she would have to be very much more heavier than she is for it to be a problem.
