new guinea

Question
i am interested in getting a friend for my guinea pig (pumpkin), but i'm not sure how she would react 2 another guinea! pumpkin is kind of tempermental (she has mood swings) and i was wondering what i can do 2 make her ready 4 a friend. in my house, there isn't an extra room in which i can quarentine a new guinea! is that a problem?  

i have some simple questions......
1. do i HAVE 2 quarentine a new guinea pig?
2. if they fight, how can i stop them
3. what kind of guinea pig persomality should i be looking for?
4. do i need 2 get another water bottle for the new guinea?
5. do guinea pigs get teritorial?

it's really good to quarentine the guinea pig just to make sure they are not sick or ill. If the guinea pigs go into an all out brawl you will have to seperate them forever usually. About the guinea pig personalities, you want to look for a personality that is compatible with your guinea pigs personality. A lot of times you may not know their true personality until they become comfortable with you. If you have a big enough water bottle then you won't need another one. Guinea pigs can get territorial, they will go back and forth trying to figure out who is dominant but the dominance issue should not worry you if they are grunting, chasing each other around and stuff. That's going to be normal.
