Odor released by Boars

Question
Do boars release extra odor like ferrets? Because my three month old boar and six month old boar both have this strong odor. They live in separate cages with other guinea pigs and the sows don't smell like this. I cleaned out the six month boar's perineal sac because I thought it might be impaction because I read about it on Guinea Lynx but that's not the problem. The odor smells strongly of feces or something. When I let them run around and play they reak of it but my sows don't. Please explain. Thanks.

Answer
Hi,

Im afraid i havent had this problem with my boars. I must admit, my boars do smell a little bit in the male department but only when i inspect when im doing their monthly all over body check to make sure they're ok every month which every pet owner should do. I must also admit when my boars fight they also smell a little but i can honestly say they do not stink or its not an obvious smell i only smell it a little when they get a bit frisky (if you know what i mean) I think you should take your pig to a vet or search the internet or someone else, i am very sorry but i can not help you with this question as i am not a qualified vet and do not know what is causing this stink.I do not know what is happening inside you pigs sorry x
