Is 0.8cc of Baytril safe for a guinea pig of 4 months

Hello Dr. Gawor, I took my guinea pig, Jumper, to the vet today and she prescribed Baytril cc twice a day.  I'm worried from what I have read that this medication could cause other health complications, especially since he's still growing.
No x-rays were done, and I'm wondering if this medicine could harm him if he doesn't have stones.

Sorry I haven't replied, I am not sure, I think you should get a second opinion from a vet near you. You could also contact the Cambridge Cavy Trust on 07721 026401 (I think this is the number)I got it from the website.
