Question
Dear Jenny Atkins,
I got my guinea pigs  today 2 of them to be preside and I left them alone for a while and did some research with me sister and 30 min later I heard squeaking and I saw them both in the tube I bought them together. Please tell me what this means ASAP

Answer
Hi Ben,

High-pitched squeaking usually means they are asking you for something. Sometimes they are just saying hello, but more often than not they want some food! Don't feed them everytime they squeak, try to get them into a routine. If you want advice on how to do this, let me know.

They were probably just playing in the tube; unless by "togther" you mean they were mating, and if so if they're of opposite sexes there'll be some babies on the way! My boys often play in the tube together; they don't seem to realise that they're too big to walk through side-by-side.

If you have any other questions, just ask!

Jenny.
