Odd Behavior

I bought a guinea pig a month ago he has had a check up and had to be put on this cherry flavored elixer for a sneeze.  Since then he has started to chew on everything including me has also started to sleep ontop of his Pigloo he is located in a very comfortable spot in the house that stays at 70 degrees has access to the sun plenty of hay and his cage and everything in it is cleaned out once sometimes twice a week depending on how messy his cage gets along with chewing on everything he hates his bedding I think he pushes it out of the cage its the same kind of bedding that came with his cage because I bought a started kit inc. cage bedding the water bottle a 5lbs bag of food etc.  Any ideas of why he is doing this?  BTW are the exercise balls good for him I bought one put him inside of it and he just sits there after 20 minutes and him the same spot I take him out should I continue to put him in there and see if he will use it or should I just axe the ball all together?

Firstly, dont both with the ball, they are not suitable for piggies.

Some pigs just like their housing arrangements in a certain way so he obviously doesnt want as much bedding in his house, perhaps he is hot.

Also, one of my pigs sleeps with just his head in the igloo so all pigs have different strange likes and dislikes. I am sure there is no need to worry though.
