sick, or just lonley?

I had two female guinea pigs who were very close and well i went away on vacation for two weeks and one of my guinea pigs died, i don't know of what though my sister says that it may have been from the heat...  my sister had said that she was not eating very well after Baby had passed away and when i came home she is still not eating very much. I took her out and played with her but she didn't move around as much as she used to, also when she is in her cage she stays in her home and doesn't come out, not even when i crinkle the bag of Timothy hay. she used to love that sound! I'm not sure if i should take her to the vet or maybe just get her a new friend...

It sounds like your Guinea Pig is really lonely. Guinea Pigs develop strong bonds to other Guinea Pigs so when one dies they take it hard and go through morning period of sorts. Getting her a new friend should brighten up her spirits and help her get back to her more normal self. Try giving her a stuffed animal and see that doesn't help some. I know it sounds weird but it'll keep her company and feel less lonely till you can get her a new companion.  

If you're still worried about her and would feel better to have her checked out by a vet then go ahead and take her.
