Preggie behavior

My preggie (7 weeks) keeps puffing up and reaching under her, is this like birth pracice? She is also eating her poos, is there something wrong?

God no!! Eating her poo's is normal for guinea pigs! All guinea pigs do it, do not worry. Mine always do it. Does she arche herself looking like a little ball and reaching under her stomach to eat a poo? These little poo's give your guinea pig lots of vitamins and nutrition. Withput her eating her poo's she would be in lack of vitamins for her newborns. Remember keep the date on your calender of when your piggie got preggie because they give birth after 65-72 days! Newborns : usually around 3 no more than 6.
