Bedding//excersize balls

1. What's the best kind of bedding for guinea pigs?
2. Is it okay to buy an excersize ball for guinea pigs...the kind thats made for them?

1. There are many bedding out there to use. Just make sure you stay away from Cedar and Pine. Some good beddings include Aspen, Carefresh, Cell Sorb, Yesterdays News, Woody Pet, All Pet Pine, Kiln Dried Pine, Kaytee Softsorb.

2. No. Cavies backs are not made to be bent backwards like they would have to be in order to run in a ball. Putting them in a ball can cause spine paralysis and can even cripple their feet. Just let them have floor time.
