QuestionOk, so I've had one piggy for about 3 years now, and her partner died of some health issues about a year ago. I don't know why we waited so long to get another, but we realized that she was getting pretty lonely since we started leaving the house more and more. Today we bought another piggy. So far it has been pretty hostile, and the new pig seems to be bullying the other and they are fighting a bit. Is this behavior normal? and will it get better??
AnswerHello Don,
what exactly are they doing? Generally, if they are chasing each other and grunting and showing teeth that's normal dominance a little nip on the butt or ear is also normal until things calm down. As long as they aren't injuring themselves don't seperate them. They will eventually work it out. Here is a link on introducing two guinea pigs.
