urinary tract infection

I think my pig has a uti.  I have some antibiotics.  How much do I give him and do I need to give it with a syringe

Hi Jill,

    Any time you suspect something as serious as UTI that must be treated with antibiotics, always consult a veterinarian for proper dosage amounts and techniques.  Vets can be expensive, but the results will most likely be better than attempting to cure it at home.  However, what you can do is feed your piggie a small amount of unsweetened, diluted cranberry juice - a homemade method to interfere with the infection, even though antibiotics are needed to completely cure it.
