guinea pig pregnancy

Question
I've had my female guinea pig living with my boar since late November and I'm trying to breed them. the boar tries to mate with her several times every day. I feel like I can feel her babies but when I try to get my mom to feel, she says she can't feel anything. I asked as friends who bred guinea pigs several years ago (I own her now along with one of her babies, but she is not the proposed mother-to-be) and this woman s so d she looked to be pregnant. she has gained considerable weight and has developed a slight eggplant shape. she's very grumpy when the male tries to mate with her and has bit him, peed on him, run a w at from him and even pulled out bits of his magnificent long butt fur, which is no longer long. I have not noticed any change in her dietary habits, but I have provided her with a small amount o f vitamin c that is larger than the one she had before. I would appreciate a professional opinion on this topic. thanks.

Answer
a guinea pig can be bred every 14 days, after 14 days she will almost certainly be pregnant,it takes around two months from conception to birth and it is important to remove the male before the birth as he will reinpregnate her and a repeat pregnancy can kill.

so they should come some time in january or early feb
other than that feed plenty of greens and parsely for calcuim

all the best
