watering eyes

Question
I have a short hair guinea pig, brown, gray and black and I have noticed that his eye is wet as if he has a cold, running eye. I would also like to know is, Is it normal for him to have pink and black toes. This is my first guinea pig and I have lots of questions.

First, I'm glad you are seeking advice on your guinea pig.  It is actually normal for a guinea pig to have multicolored toes.  Believe it or not, their skin color is typically the same as their hair color.  For example, a white guinea pig will have pink skin (which is actually white), a tan one will have slightly beige skin, etc.  Now, about the eye discharge -- is it actually running, or does the eye just look moist.  I need more details about what the discharge looks like, too -- is it white, yellowish, black, what?  Please respond and let me know more details, so I can be more precise with my advice.
