My guinea pig bites

I have had my latest piggie, a male rex, for about a month now - he's about 3 months old and I got him from a friend of mine who runs a rehoming centre.

He's well fed and has lots of hay and things on which to nibble but for the last couple of weeks (I cuddle him every night) he will perch himself on my shoulder and he has been nipping at my jewellery, my clothes, my hair and occasionally my fingers!.  When I approach his cage and talk to him he will come to where I am and get on his back legs and I have no trouble getting him out of the cage.

What does his nipping mean?

Based on the fact that your pig seems very tame, I suggest that he is nipping you because he needs to take a wee. Try putting him back in his cage for a few minutes and then getting him out again and see what happens.
