Guinea Pig with thick dandruff

I have 2 guinea pigs, one of them has very thick flakey dandruff on his hind end. I took him to the vet and they did a skin scrape to check for mites, but could not find anything, and the other guinea pig has no signs of any problems. They both eat normal, go to the bathroom normally, and drink normally. I just wondered if you could give me any type of remedy for him.

If I was in the same position, I would give the pig a bath in special small animal anti-bacterial shampoo. You could even use human shampoo designed to treat dandruff.

A word of warning though, most pigs dont like having a bath so I would use a deep sink and a small cup to pour lukewarm water over the pig and have a 2nd person to gently restrain the pig. That sounds fun doesnt it!
