piggie not making noises

Question
I just got a new piggie 2 days ago, I have not heard him make one single noise yet!!! I am worried that something is wrong with him as the last 2 piggies I have had, died within 2 weeks of bringing them home of a respiratory infection. Is no noise making a sign of a more signifigant illness? I am so sad over loosing two piggies before this one. Please help..

Well, there are quite a few symptoms of serious illness .. and while I would be concerned over silence, its not necessarily the worst of them.  Here are a few of the symptoms to look for: ruffled fur, discharge from eyes, nose, etc, hunched over, listless, off feed and/or water, labored breathing, diarrhea, blood in urine.
