why did they die

hi

recently i have bought 2 guinea pigs witch are both males they are called versace and gucci they were both getting on realy well when i went to feed them i looked it there bed part when it came to my shock that versace had died i was realy upset and bursted put crying today so we still had gucci we bought him a indoor cage becaue we thought he died of coldness so we bought gucci the alive one a indoor cage and i played with him he was fine the next day i came home from school when he was lying dead what was wrong with him why did they both die ?

Well, did either of them have any symptoms?  For example, did either of them seem to stop eating or drinking, become listless, or have discharge from anywhere?  That would be the easiest way for me to be able to tell what happened to them.  Also, I need a greater definition of "coldness" ... just how cold was it outside where they were?

If you would let me know this information, I would be happy to try to piece together what happened.
