Exercising and grooming

Whenever I take my piggy out of her cage to exercise on the floor, she won't move. What should I do? I put her in an exercise ball once and she still didn't move.

How often should I brush my guinea pig?

If this is new to her, it will take her some time to get use to things.  So a little patients and understanding will do.  :)  In time, she will catch on.  You should brush a long haired guinea pig at least once per day.  Every other day at the very least.
