introducing a new pig

Question
Hi

we have 4 pigs all female. To begin with we bought 2 pigs together munchie and fudge. munchie is a very dominant pig and fudge very submissive, munchie is a bit of a bully. we then bought about a year later a baby pig "wee-yin". we tried to introduce her to the bigger ones and all went well for about half an hour when fudge the more sumissive pig decided to attack the baby. munchie had been very mothering toward the baby and fudge would not have it so we removed the wee yin and put her in a seperate cage. we decided to get wee yin a friend as she is quite a nervous pig and is very submissive. we got "tiny" at xmas. we introduced them slowly and all was well until the wee yin attacked tiny. i have never seen anything like this. she looked so aggressive and really scared tiny. since then we now have to two babies seperate and munchie and fudge in a cage together.

has the wee yin rejected tiny due to what fudge done to her? everwhere says you  can introduce females no prob but we havent been able to do it.i dont think i could stand them fighting.

any help or tips much appreciated.

Answer
Hi Ashley

Usually females are easier to introduce than males but there is always exceptions to the rule.

Take a look at the link below which I have always found very helpful.
