Question
we recently bought two sister guinea pigs and lately found they were both pregnant. one has given birth (two boys and girl) but one of her babies in blind (girl). we dont know if she is feeding, is there anything we can do to help her?
the other pregnant pig seems happy with them, will this change when she has her babies?
when should we separate the boys and girls?

thanks, elysia

Answer
Hi Elysia, yes seperate the boy and girls about a week to a week and a half after birth. And as for the blind little girl, make extra sre to check her weight and take her to the vet if you noice any possible drops or declines. The other mommy-to-be will probly not change her attitude when she delivers.

Hope this helps,
