shedding and nail care

my female pig is almost two she constanly sheds. Also how do you do proper nail care; I cut her nail every other week. ( ITS A  BADLE EVERY TIME)is their a better way to treat their nails.

There is nothing you can do for the shedding.  This is just part of being a guinea pig owner.  As for trimming the nails, you are doing all that you can do.  There is no other option unless you were to take it to a vet and pay them to trim the nails.
