i dont know what to do!

QUESTION: ok,my guinea pig is pregnant and shes been preganant before and she had 5 babies the first time she had the babies and they all died and now shes pregnant again and shes been pregnant 4 a while now and i can feel her babies moving in side her and i can feel them but its ben a long time and i dont know when shes going to have her babies
         pleasssseeeeee....help!!!!!!!!!!

ANSWER: Hiya Jessica,
Well guinea pigs are pregnant for about 2 months and a bit over!
Obviously you have just noticed in the late stages, so just the only thing you can do, is be prepared, act like everyday she is going to have the babies, then one day, she will! And you will have been ready for them!

So separate her from the male, clean her out, make sure everything is baby safe, feed her plenty of greens and vitamins, are her and her babies will be fine.

If you can feel the babies moving you have about 2 weeks left at the most!!!!!!!

QUESTION: the male has passed away,but i really do feel them moving and i cant wait till they have the babies but im kinda worried cuz shes been pregnant for a while and her last litter they all died and the books said they know what to do already but she never fed them  and they all died so will this litter end uo like the first litter??

ANSWER: You are right to worry, because she may not have that motherly instinct, which some guinea pigs don't!!
However she is older this time round and has done it before, if she has had long gap, between each litter her motherly instincts should have kicked in, and she will look after them hopefully this time!

If she doesn't seem to be interested come back to me for some hand rearing advice, we won't let them all die this time!!!

QUESTION: thanks,im sorry for all of these questions but i have one more.....
ok ever sence a couple weeks maby 1 month after she got pregnant this time she isnt eating very much or driking and i read a book saying if they dont eat or drink then its a sighn of illness but mi family is telli g them that its just becaouse shes preganant and she may be ready to have her babies soon,i dont know whats right or wrong,!

Right, I think you will find that if she was about to give birth she would be eating and drinking a lot!
However aslong as she is eating something and drinking some water then she will be fine!
Just make sure she doesn't get too skinny if she does, then try her on a variety of food and veg to get her interested!
