Lonely guinea pig?

One of my guinea pigs got pregnant so i separated the male from the female. Thing is when I put the male back in his cage after playing with him he squeaks really loudly for a few minutes. Is this because he is lonely, and if so what can I do about it because it makes me sad? Also I tried letting him play with the female whilst I watched and intervined if he tried anything on so that he wouldn;t get lonely but when I took him away to go back in his cage he started squeeking again. Is this torment? I just don't know what to do!

sounds like your boy is in love!
If possible can you have him neutered so he can live with his female all the time/
It sounds like they have very much bonded and it would be for the best if he was neutered. If you are in th UK and get any benefits off the state,you may be entitled to help with the vet bill.
