My Guinea Pigs Longevity

Hi Andy,
This is just a comment. My family's guinea pig "Olivia" died yesterday. She was a wonderful, very communicative pet. We had her for over 6 1/2 years and got her for my son's 9th birthday (He is now 15 1/2).  Before that she live for 3 or 4 years in the kid's care room at the gym I went to. And before that she lived for about a year with the breeder before the gym got her. So I am thinking Olivia lived for 10 1/2 to 12 years.
We will really miss her. She had a good long life.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

She had a very long life. You can be very proud of yourself because you and your family clearly did a brilliant job of looking after Olivia and keeping her happy and healthy.

I sincerely hope you give a home to more of these wonderful creatures as the world is crying out for great owners like you.
