I have a guinea pig, and I was wondering if it is safe to use shreded newspaper or shreded computer paper for bedding. If not what is cheap that I could use

Hi you can use newspaper no worries as the ink used nowadays is soya based and safe for your piggy.
I would not use glossy mags tho as they have little absorbancy.
Printer paper is also fine shredded,your piggy will love hiding in a mountain of paper :)
You can use your own shredded mail as long as there are no staples in with it.
