ginuea pigs

i just bought two two month old guinea pigs and every time
they see each other out side of there pens they make this purring sound i was wondering if this is a good sign

The purring is a good sign. It means that they are developing a strong bond with each other, when they are 6 months old and start establishing who will be alpha of the two it will go smoothly and will not last very long.
