my guinea pip

today my guinea pig is laying on his side he can't get up and walk. He has done this before 3 other times, do you think he is having sedges? the last 3 times in a few hours he was fine again. tell me what you think. Thank you

Hi Bonnie.  I think the word you're after there is seizures?  Well, guinea pigs can have fits although i am not sure what causes them.  What i do know is that you should seek veterinary advice when you think your guinea pig has experienced one as he or she would most likely require treatment.  
Now from what you are saying, i get a feeling that maybe your guinea is having some difficulty with his legs, this may be joint stiffness like arthritis or even paralysis.  Paralysis can be caused by various things but it has been linked to calcium deficiency.  I think this being a sensitive area for investigation, would be something for you to discuss with your vet.
