losing weight

We have a 3 year old male guinea pig.  About 6 months ago, he started having large soft balls of poop that smell awfull about once a week.  He now looks skinny and you can feel his bones on his back side.  He is still very active, eats, drinks, poops normal in addition to the large balls.  Any ideas?????

Try feeding your Guinea Pig more fresh greens and veggie, not a lot but some extra, that should help in putting a little weight on him, also it should help in cutting down the large balls to a more normal size.

If that doesn't help then I would suggest taking him down to see an exotic vet, just to make sure everything is fine and nothing is wrong.
