Question
okay... well, i have a guinea pig which is a male and I have had him for at least a month I wanted to know if I would be able to get him am mate by Christmas or at least January.  Also, i wanted to know if he would be able to eat any types of fruits.

Answer
Josephine,

Yes, you would be able to get him a mate by Christmas or January at least. Just make sure the mate is a little younger then him and fits close to his personality so they'll get along.

Yes, he can eat fruits but it is better to feed him more veggies and greens, with not a lot of fruit as Guinea Pigs are very prone to diabetes and the fruits have a lot of sugar in them. But he can have fruits once to twice a week and only little at a time.

Guinea Pigs like apples, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe melons, Honeydew melons, bananas, blackberries, blueberries, peaches, pears, pineapple, plums,
Raisins Seedless, Raspberries, Strawberries. Are all good fruits to feed Guinea Pigs. But only a little at a time.

I hope this helps,
   Take care now,
