Guinea pigs and rabbits

Question
Hi, I have kept a male guinea pig with a small female rabbit for about a year now and they get on fine, but the rabbit escaped from her hutch a few days ago, thankfully we managed to catch her again a few days later. I suspect that she is probably pregnant and I was wondering if I should separate them before she has the babies or if it is okay to keep them together? Many thanks : )

Answer
well you shouldnt really keep them together anyway, and as a saftey measure i would not let the guinea pig be there when the babies are born, female rabbits prefer a little solitude the first day or two of the kittens lives and may be violent. my advice would be to get another male guinea pig and a second hutch for them. people say you shouldnt but i think it is okay for them to share a run if it is permanently attached to both hutches.
