feces on his feet

I have just noticed my guinea pig who lives with a rabbit has very hard feces on his feet and I cant get it off, I feel really bad about it, please could you advise on how to get it off safely

Dear Tracey
If its poo the chances are it will fall off,or you can stand your boy in the sink with warm water only and rub the area - this water will loosen the poo and it will come off.
It could actually be spurs which is extra skin and will not hurt your boy,it looks like poo and is dark and hard like poo.
As for keeping him with a rabbit, I would advise you to seperate them asap as they dont mix.
Your rabbit could easily kick out in happiness and break you boys back or ribs.
