QuestionWhat is the best age for my male guinea pig to breed for the first time, I've heard that they can breed once they are 3 weeks old but what age would you recommend to start?
AnswerHello Josephine.
The best age for breeding a guinea pig would be between the ages of 3 months to 10 months. I wouldn't breed any sooner than that.
Here's a website that explains a little about breeding, and the dangers and risks of it. I have to let you know because i am really against breeding pigs. Please check it out. It may stop you dead in your tracks.

There is an article on that webpage.
Hope this helps.
