My piggies acting strangely

Question
Ive had my piggy (frankie) for a week now he is only 8 weeks old, At first he was jumpy as expected but after the first day with us he seemed to have really bonded with me especially and also my boyfriend.
the last couple of days he has really started to nibble me, he only does it when im holding him, he also has started nibbling at my hair(he likes to hide in there purched on my shoulder). it doesnt seem like he's trying to hurt me, but im woried as he only does it to me.  :o(

also last night he was really noisey AND nibbley so i put him back in his hutch, about 3 hours later i heard a loud banging noise, i poked my head round the corner and watched him for a while and he started running up and down but going head first into the wall of his hutch! obviously this is a concern so i took him out for a cuddle and he was very quiet and settled laying on my chest, is this something to worry about? or is he just bored? please help.?

Answer
Hi Jadi

The running up and down just sounds like Frankie having some fun, however, you might want to consider modifying his cage so he doesnt bang his head! Boredom might be an issue going forward.

In terms of the nibbling. I think this is down to Frankie feeling at home with you. Its not unnatural that he should bond with you more than another person, your boyfriend for example. He obviously likes the way you stroke and handle him.

Unless he shows signs of injury then the resting is probably just that, having some time out after a period of play.
