Help! Im worried for my Guinea Pig!

Hi, at first i was quite confident that my guinea pig fell pregnant before she turned 8 months old but now im not so sure. Im worried that she might have problems during birth what should i do?

Hi Grace,

    If your guinea pig may have gotten pregnant a few days or even a week over eight months, I would not worry.  However, if you really are worried, contact a veterinarian who is experienced in the area of guinea pigs and inform him/her of your situation.  Be sure that you are present at the time of delivery, and be prepared to pinch the amniotic sacs and the umbilical cord off the babies, should there be a problem.
