My husband and I just got a guinea pig for the first time, and we enjoy her so much we want to start breeding them.  I have a question about giving our guinea pig sugar, like in a piece of graham cracker.  Is it harmful to them, even if its just a small piece?

    Congratulations on your new addition (=.  Sugar is not recommended for guinea pigs, even in small amounts as in pieces of graham crackers.  Also, if you plan on breeding, I highly suggest that you invest in a book that goes into detail on how to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
