My guinea pig has a cut on his foot I have been trying to treat. I soak it and put medicine on it, but as soon as he gets back in that cage and walks around it gets yuck stuck in the wound. Any suggestions as to what I can wrap his foot in? He has chewed off gauze and bandaids within a few minutes. I tried using just newspaper instead of the carefresh bedding but that gets disgusing in no time. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Is it possible that your pig has the condition called bumblefoot or is it just simply a cut he has got on one foot. The other foot is ok?

I am not sure I can come up with any better suggestions that you have tried already, I am so sorry.
