Unwell newborn

Question
My guinea pig had 4 young only 3 days ago, the "runt" had a few problems during birth as the mother was too tired to clean her, my step dad helped clean her up and she had her first breath. We have been letting the smallest have time on her own with the mum to ensure she manages to feed (as she is half the size of her siblings) but now I think she is losing the fight to live. She was trampled on by her brother and 2 sisters, her head is to one side and she seems weak. We have separated her so she doesn't get worse but not sure what to do to help. Is it a stroke? Or is she just suffering from a traumatic birth?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Answer
Hi Nicola

Unfortunately, mortality rate in piggy births is high and there are occasions where, for whatever reason, there is a runt that just doesnt prosper. I suggest as a last resort you syringe feed her. You can get some tips from the link below.
