My guinea has lost the use of its back legs. I have taken it to the vet and he has given it anti-inflamitories and anti-biotics. Is there anything I can do. The vet said if he doesnt start to move his legs soon he have to be put to sleep. He is only 5 weeks old and got in the way of another older guinea pig. Please help, he is so lively, eating, drinking and running around.

I'm sorry to hear about your piggy.

I suppose it depends if your pig is in any sort of pain. I'm not a vet, but if he is pain-free I don't see why he couldn't live happily even if he only could use 2 legs.

I'm not sure I can give any practical advice because this is a medical matter, just give him lots of love and cuddles. Plenty of veggies with all those vitamins will surely help as well.
