Question
I have two female guinea pigs, ones a few months old(Amy) and one's a few years old(Amber). We give them little play dates every so often(they live separately like neighbors). When we do, Amy will continuously sniff Amber's rear and then either always be next to her or or will stick her head under Amber's head. Then Amber will try to or succeed in nipping Amy.Is this normal? How do we get them to live together?

Answer
Hi Rachel,
Try putting them in the same cage, but put a divider in the middle. Make sure they can see and communicate through the divider though, this way they will be able to communicate and get used to each other without causeing any harm to the other piggy.

Hope this helps!
