Question
We have an indoor cage that has a plastic base but it always has white patches on the floor of it even after cleaning. It seems to be mainly where they wee so i guess thats whats causing it. when its washed it looks clean until it dries then the white patches are back.

Answer
Hello Susan!
I know what you are talking about.
Those are the annoying pee stains. They smell like pee-pee if you sniff them closely. I suggest switching your wash to hot water and a bit of vinegar and scrubbing al lot harder, a lot longer.
Also if you can keep track of where the stains are, try putting more bedding over them.
Do not use chemical washes as these are harmful to the piggy.
