Question
I'm not sure if I should have my Guinea pigs inside or outside, they are outside at the moment with a carpet over them. Which is best, Inside or out?

Answer
Hello Jayne!
Inside is best, especially in the winter and summer.
Guinea pigs are killed by most insects (Bees, wasps, spiders, horse flys, earwigs, grasshoppers %26 more).
Guinea pigs also can freeze and overheat easily and that usually leads to death.
Some owners have outdoor pigs that are fine, but for the most part rabbits are better suited for outside, guinea pigs not so much.
I cannot tell you which you could do best with, but the pigs have a better survival rate indoors.
