Guinea pig;pregnat

Hi, I have a question... I have a friend that has a guinea pig and she is huge! I do not know if she is pregnat, it has been 4,5 or 6 weeks since we noticed this..... She has an egg plant shaped belly but she does not nip is you touch her belly.... Is she pregnat? Or how do you tell?

yeah a pair shape is a pretty clear sign, they tend to be pregnant for 8-10 weeks, and though they tend to be bit more snappy they will not always be aghressive to you when pregnant, usually mine tend to just be lazy and more irritable, if she has been showing for six weeks then I think she is going to deliver very soon, litters are between one and eight though for a first litter you usually will not get more than four...usually. est of luck and please feel free to write in with any more questions you have.
