Guinea pig heart

I have a female pig that is about 12 weeks old.  Lately I've noticed that she looks like her heart is beating real fast.  I thought maybe that it was from getting excited when we try and get her out, but I've noticed that when she is just eating her sides go in and out like her heart is beating fast.  She acts normal in ever other way.

Your girl sounds like she may have an irregular heartbeat. Nothing to panic about, just provide her with some fresh foods with high potassium in it for a few days as potassium helps the heart to beat normally. Some good foods are parsley, celery, banana, and dandelion (washed clean first). Feed her plenty of those foods for about a week and then after that in with her fresh food give her one of the above to keep her heartbeat normal.
