i bought 2 guinea pigs

last week i bought 2 female guinea pigs from pets at home in walsall. one was scruffy mixed colours and my other was gold. They were both fine, eating, drinking and running around. but today my gold one was really sleepy and flopping about the place. Then she started having a fit  and died. My other ones ok but i dont know what caused it. was it a disease?

Sorry for your loss
it was most likely a disease that she probably caught from her last owners
That is a bad problem in guinea pigs first they get sleepy or tired and they start to collapse and then get back up and then they will die

It would have yelled out a loud squeak before dyeing

Good Luck with the other one hope it is ok
Also you may need to change the diet of the pig because this is what causes it
